Delhi · MCD, NDMC and Cantonment
Uncollected garbage, overflowing bins, dumps, construction debris, garbage burning, dead animals and dirty public toilets.

To complain about garbage in Delhi, take a photo of the dump or overflowing bin on Theek Karo, or send it on WhatsApp. It is emailed to the MCD Sanitation Superintendent of that ward (NDMC or the Cantonment Board in their areas), with reminders until the spot is cleaned and a photo proves it.
| Problem | Office that gets the complaint |
|---|---|
| Dumps, uncollected garbage, overflowing bins | MCD Sanitation Superintendent of the ward |
| Garbage burning | MCD Sanitation Superintendent (burning waste is banned in Delhi) |
| Construction and demolition debris | MCD Sanitation Superintendent |
| NDMC and Cantonment areas | NDMC Public Health or the Cantonment Board |
If nothing happens, it climbs on its own: reminders from day 3, a senior officer on day 7, your ward councillor on day 14, your MLA on day 21 and your MP on day 30. Every step is shown on the complaint's public page.
In most of Delhi it is the MCD: each ward's Sanitation Superintendent, under the zone's Deputy Commissioner. In Lutyens' Delhi it is the NDMC, and in the Cantonment the Delhi Cantonment Board. Theek Karo works out which one from your photo's location.
Take a photo while the smoke or burnt pile is visible and pick Garbage burning. Open burning of waste is banned in Delhi; the complaint goes to the ward's sanitation officer.
It depends on the ward. Each complaint shows its day count, and the area pages show how many complaints each ward has fixed and how long they waited.
