Delhi · MCD, NDMC and Cantonment
Streetlights that are off, dark stretches, exposed wires, hanging power lines, open transformer boxes and dark bus stops.

To complain about a street light not working in Delhi, photograph the pole or dark stretch on Theek Karo, at night if you can, or send it on WhatsApp. It goes to the MCD Junior Engineer (Electrical) of the ward. Hanging lines and transformers go to the electricity company, BSES or Tata Power-DDL.
| Problem | Office that gets the complaint |
|---|---|
| Streetlight off, dark stretch in a ward | MCD Junior Engineer (Electrical) |
| Hanging power lines, open transformer boxes | BSES Rajdhani, BSES Yamuna or Tata Power-DDL |
| Lights at bus stops and on main roads | Public Works Department (PWD) |
If nothing happens, it climbs on its own: reminders from day 3, a senior officer on day 7, your ward councillor on day 14, your MLA on day 21 and your MP on day 30. Every step is shown on the complaint's public page.
Lights in colony and ward lanes are the MCD's electrical wing (in NDMC areas, NDMC's). Main roads are PWD's. Wires and transformers belong to the electricity company for your area.
At night, with the dark pole or stretch in the frame. Theek Karo accepts night photos; the location tells the officer exactly which pole.
